About Our Ministry
T&C serve in West Asia and desire to serve long term amongst an unreached/unengaged minority language group in a restricted access country. This requires them to learn both the national language of the country they are working in as well as the minority group's local language. In between study of both languages, they will need to establish a business amongst the minority language group that they will be living amongst. Currently, they are in the process of learning the national language with the goal of reaching advanced fluency.
About Our Call
T&C formerly worked in Uganda for 3 years. While there, they began to consider and learn about people living amongst unreached language groups around the world. During this season, they sensed God giving them a strong desire and conviction to live and work long term amongst one of these language groups with little to no gospel access. After a year of cross cultural and linguistic training, they have now been serving overseas since July of 2024.
About Our Family
C grew up worshipping at GCC and later moved to Washington state to go to college. While there, she met T at the church they were both serving at. T & C were married in July of 2018 and they welcomed their first child into the world in January of 2024. They enjoy playing with their daughter, reading great literature, cooking with friends, going for walks, and learning from other cultures.
Prayer Requests
Pray that as they are in a new location since 2024 that they will be insightful learners as they seek to understand the language and culture.
Pray that the Father will provide strong relationships with locals who they can do life with and learn from.
Pray for a strong start in language study and good relationships with their language tutors.
Pray that they will grow in their understanding of the Father's sovereignty and care over them as they are getting started.
